Beware, he is a con artist, a thief and a liar. 

The job he was doing, he was doing to do something, he had enough money, so didn't need money. Then wanted to start his own business again, and was just waiting for his millions to clear from overseas so he could buy a vehicle and the tools he needed. Then his money was going to clear the next day, and he wanted to have cash in the house, so please could he have access to the safe to put the cash he was drawing into it. 

All sounds so genuine, he is a master at conning! Then he starts doing jobs so long, small ones, and has product delivered to site, this while his money has not cleared yet, because his broker messed up the paperwork. But the money is coming...


Calls start coming in, deposits taken for jobs, and jobs not done! He took a R 6,000.00 deposit from an pensioner couple in Weltevreden Park, and he has gone with that money. He definately has a drinking problem, and something stronger I suspect. Also, ANY hard tack... It just goes. I had 7 bottles of good expensive whiskey... Found empty bottles in the boxes! 

I found a number on his phone for his brother he spoke about, turned out to be his step brother, and the response I got was "I will let the relevant parties know" no shock, so it had obviously happened before..

Ladies and the elderly, look out for this guy, he is only out there to do you out of your hard earned money and belongings. He knows everything of everything, and is an expert at everything! 


I know he is already working on his next victim, and I pray this message gets to that person before he does too much damage. And to everyone else who may cross paths with him. Everyone is entitled to be informed and warned about him.

When you submit your resume check for the following!

When we review people’s resumes, we often see a basic document with basic content and outdated formatting.  We also see resumes that contain some pretty fundamental mistakes.  Here are some tips of what to do:

SPELLCHECK and GRAMMARCHECK!!!!!
Include basic contact information.  Direct contact number, i.e mobile number.  The e-mail address you use should be a personal address, not your e-mail address at your current job.
Provide a summary (2 – 3 lines) of your experience, knowledge, strengths and value add.  Do not use words like “excellent communication skills”, as nowadays this is an absolute ‘given’ and a natural requirement for all positions.  Detail specific outstanding qualities/skills that you have been complimented on or which have been highlighted to you
Make sure the layout of all your bullets, paragraphs, and sections is consistent.  Use the same type of bullet in every section.  Use the same font throughout your resume.  If you need to get creative, you can bold, italicize, underline, or change colors, but using more than one font is distracting.
Ensure that employment dates reflect months and years and that any gaps are explained
Ensure that you detail/describe your KPA’s
The focus of your resume should be on your achievements, so highlight these for each position.
Give proper reasons for leaving  - leave nothing to the imagination

Senior Website Operations Manager

Our client is a leading outsourced e-commerce management services company, based in Johannesburg South Africa. They provide services to a niche group of customers, delivering cutting edge e-commerce solutions to a global user base.

The Marketing division is tasked with delivering innovative, varied, creative and dynamic marketing solutions. These initiatives span web based, telephonic, email communications, real world interactions, direct mail campaigns and other initiatives.

Responsibilities include :

1. Management of the web master function – providing web master & website management related services
2. Ensuring that all websites and products are developed according to SEO best practice, and that all web related efforts & projects are geared around improving search rankings. Drive & implement the business’ search engine optimization strategy with the SEO team.
3. Efficient and effective brand management of various brands. This includes traditional brand management, as well as project management and thought leadership of all brand related projects across the business.
4. Ensuring reliable and effective web analytics & reporting to the base of marketing department users
5. The outputs and day-to-day management of the creative team
6. The outputs and day-to-day management of the copy / content team [spanning 8 languages].

Qualifications / experience:

• Must have minimum 10 yrs eCommerce Branding, Webmaster, Product or Promotions Management experience.
• Must have experience running multiple projects simultaneously, especially with the releasing of large web based projects with fresh content on a weekly basis (40 – 50 new pages per week)
• B.Com or similar Marketing Management Degree essential
• A proven track record of team management in a dynamic environment with a diverse portfolio of responsibility. This position has approximately 40 direct reports, including web masters, SEO specialists, copywriters, brand manager etc
• Proven analytical ability and involvement in strategic planning & business management

Skills / Competencies:

• Solid Business and Product Development skills required
• Exceptional inter-personal skills. Strong negotiation and networking skills; required to network and negotiate with product, channel, creative and other internal stakeholders to ensure integrated brand solutions / offerings.
