Job Title: Channel Manager – IT Security

Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining vendor relationships, inventory management, brand planning, price modelling, co-ordinating various activities, product sales training and finalizing promotion and sale of assigned security products
Researches industry and sales data, determines target market, assist in closing sales contracts and conducts product presentations and demonstrations
Develops and maintains ongoing relationships with business contacts, third parties and trade professionals to further expand sales activity
Completes related records and sales reports as well as any other reporting required
Conducts sales functions in accordance with established policies and procedures
Keeps management well informed of area activities and significant problems
Skills Required:
Additional sales and marketing training preferred
Strong understanding of product sales and take to market systems
Knowledge of customer services and support processes
3 or more years of experience in a marketing or product management position
Qualification:
Matric
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or Related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience

Salary:
R300.00 – p.a – salary is a 55/45 split
