Job Title: Channel Manager – IT Security

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining vendor relationships, inventory management, brand planning, price modelling, co-ordinating various activities, product sales training and finalizing promotion and sale of assigned security products

  • Researches industry and sales data, determines target market, assist in closing sales contracts and conducts product presentations and demonstrations

  • Develops and maintains ongoing relationships with business contacts, third parties and trade professionals to further expand sales activity

  • Completes related records and sales reports as well as any other reporting required

  • Conducts sales functions in accordance with established policies and procedures

  • Keeps management well informed of area activities and significant problems


Skills Required:


  • Additional sales and marketing training preferred

  • Strong understanding of product sales and take to market systems

  • Knowledge of customer services and support processes

  • 3 or more years of experience in a marketing or product management position



Qualification:


  • Matric

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or Related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience

Salary:


  • R300.00 – p.a – salary is a 55/45 split
