Responsibilities:
Analyse business requirements and design of custom reporting applications to meet management information needs
Management of development projects supporting MIS functions for the business
Develop custom reports using distributed systems of which the data need to be central MIS data warehouse
Optimising database to ensure performed levels are adequate
Liasing with third party service providers and customers to ensure data requirements and interfaces are maintained
Skills:
3 years experience as MIS Manager
Advanced computer literacy
Basic accounting knowledge
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Microsoft Office specifically Excel and Access
Good reporting writing skills using MS Access and Crystal Reports as well as MS Reporting Services
Data ware housing design and use of SQL OLAP Cubes essential
Qualifications:
Tertiary Degree required, preferably BCom Information Systems
